Accommodation

James’ Cottage offers three bedrooms ( sleeps six ) on the first floor, there’s an additional shower room, toilet and WC on the ground floor. The kitchen/diner/lounge is open plan, one pet is allowed and all fuel, bed linen, towels and Wifi are included. A cot and highchair are available on request.

This home-from-home hideaway comes complete with a shared drying green, rear courtyard and picnic table – perfect for alfresco afternoons. It’s also pet a friendly cottage, meaning no one is left behind and offers plenty of tail-wag worthy Lake District walks from the doorstep.

Ground Floor

Kitchen

Whether you’re a budding cook or a seasoned chef, James’ kitchen is complete with a range of appliances to whip up a feast. Including an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and range of tableware. There’s also a washer/dryer.

Living Space

The open plan living space sits on the ground floor (next to the kitchen and dining area) and comes complete with a large flat screen 43 inch smart TV, DVD player, radio/iPod dock, sofa and electric fire – perfect for catching up with your favourite box set or curling up with a good book.

Dining Area

The dining table comfortably seats 6 and is perfect for making the most of your time together.

Shower Room

Featuring a shower cubicle, heated towel rail, wash basin and WC,  located on the ground floor.

First Floor

Double Bedroom

Situated on the first floor, each room is charmingly appointed in different styles and all with comfy linens. The master bedroom comes compete with a double bed and wardrobe.

Twin Bedroom 1

Comes complete with twin beds, dressing table and wardrobes.

Twin Bedroom 2

Comes complete with twin beds, wardrobe and draws.

Bathroom

Features a bathtub with shower above, wash basin and WC and situated on the first floor.

A parking permit is provided for one car, electronic number plate recognition is in use in Keswick, contact the office in advance .

The Lake District is a beautiful part of the country and this pet friendly cottage is located right in the heart of the bustling town of Keswick, where you’ll find gorgeous tea rooms, pubs a-plenty and quirky little shops to fulfil any pangs for shopping.

This luxury self-catering bolthole is ideally located to explore perhaps the most atmospheric and dramatically sited of all British stone circles, Castlerigg . While nearby Derwentwater boasts a plethora of tracks and trails to explore by foot and or two wheels.

You’ve plenty of choice when it comes to adventure, too. With neighbouring Skiddaw (the sixth-highest summit in England) often topped with clouds and neighbouring Buttermere and Catbells labelled must-visit areas of outstanding natural beauty.
