Amazing week away at this lovely cottage.  It has everything we need and is so spacious.  We have enjoyed exploring the local area and visiting North Bay beach in Scarborough.  Lovely local pubs and plenty of supermarkets to stock up for a BBQ on the patio.  Hot tub has been a lovely touch too.

We had a truly wonderful stay in this amazing property, with a really helpful and friendly team. The property was beautiful, spacious and in impeccable condition, and exceeded our expectations from the listing. Whilst being on a small complex of holiday homes, our little house and garden area felt peaceful and private. It consistently felt like the owners had gone that extra mile to make everything effortless… including a lovely welcome pack, local information shared, car chargers, games room and thoughtfully equipped property overall. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at Oak Cottage, lovely welcome pack, felt like home from home. Loved the peace and quiet, so tranquil and relaxing. Beds were comfy, open plan area was ideal for us. Great base for long walks to different places. Hot tub was amazing, already planning on returning next year.

Loved Oak Cottage- so well equipped and cosy in winter. Lots of walking in dales and beaches- the best Sunday lunch at The Bryerstones- highly recommended. We will be back!!!

Superb cottage and hot tub, very clean and as we say in Yorkshire "short of nowt we've got".
Highly recommend Whitby. Food wise for the best fish and chips, Mother Hubbard's on the top of the main shopping street in Scarborough and roast dinners at the 3 Jolly Sailors, Burniston. Thank you for a great holiday.

Second stay at Thirley Cotes Farm. Lovely cottage and hot tub. The gardens are gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Lovely days out in Saltburn, Runswick Bay, Whitby, Scarborough (coastal open top bus was a nice change). Lovely meal in Three Jolly Sailors in Burniston with a coal fire. Thank you for another fabulous holiday.

Fantastic stay for my 40th. Loved every minute, such a relaxing stay and fantastic cottage. Weve already booked for next October absolutely loved the hot tub.

Drive around the small roads and find chocolate box villages. Must visit Scampston Hall. Enjoy your stay

We have been blessed with sunshine throughour our short stay here and have loved it. We recommend the cinder track from Scalby to Robn Hoods Bay if you have bikes. Nice stop at Ravenscar for tea and coffee.

We are thrilled to have found such a perfect place to stay enabling us to visit some of our favourite places, Goathland, Little Beck, Falling Foss, Sandsend. Memories are precious at our age, we have booked again!

This is our second year at Thirley Cotes, discovering the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors we went to Mallyon Spout waterfall enjoying afternoon tea at the Goathland tea rooms. We especially loved walking from Boggle Hole to Robins Hoods Bay.

We love it here, the cottage is gorgeous and getting in the hot tub after a day of exploring is just bliss.

We really enjoyed our week. The cottage had everything we needed and is very comfortable. We loved the games room and the hot tub. Can recommend Runswick Bay, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes. Super fish and chips in Seaview at Saltburn by the Sea. Great location for visiting places like York and Helmsley.

WOW. What a place. Oak Cottage and location just perfect and so much space. Nearby towns of Whitby and Scarborough were just lovely and of course a visit to Heartbeat Country and Harry Potter station in Grosmont was a must.

We really enjoyed our 10 days here. Everything you could wish for provided in the cottage and will certainly highly recommend.

To celebrate my wife's 70th birthday we booked the Farmhouse, Sycamore and Oak Cottage. Which perfectly housed our family of 10 and 12 close friends. Ages ranged between 78 and 4 months and we all spent a wonderful weekend in this splendid location. We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of all the accommodation and everyone was impressed with the facilities. With most taking advantage of the hot tubs. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and we could not have chosen a better spot. We even had beautiful weather, which made our visit even more fabulous. May congratulations to the owners and team - they couldn't have provided anything more for their guests.
