Everything about our stay at Sycamore cottage has been absolutely perfect! A perfect spot for friends and family to relax. Hot tub was fantastic and well maintained. Everything you could ever need. We don't want to go home and definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful escape.

A fabulous property.  Then children loved the space, the grown-ups loved the views and the hot tub.  A very special weekend.

Beautiful cottage, surreal character perfect for all.  We loved the hot tub , BBQ and rooms.  We will be returning again with friends and family.

An amazing place to stay for the week. Very peaceful!. Great outdoor space around the cottage, green field for frisbee or football. We visited Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hoods bay and Goathland. We went on North Yorkshire Moors railway- Whitby-Pickering was fantastic, a must for all ages.

Amazing cottage, lovely people always on hand to answer questions with a smile. Fully equipped cottage really was a home from home in a lovely location. 100% would recommend and already looking at dates for next year.

The perfect cottage for a BIG birthday celebration. A brilliant time was had from ages 9 to 70! The hot tub and games room was perfect for us and the weather just topped it off. A perfect mini break.

"Best place to stay ever". I loved the hot tub especially at night with the lights on! We liked eating as a family of 10. the sofas were great for family games nights. The beds were very soft it was everything we could wish for. Thank you for the welcome pack.

A family holiday for a 75th Birthday celebration. Facilities here were excellent and we appreciated the welcome pack. We would certainly recommend this to other family and friends.

We all had a really nice time for my Grandad's 60th birthday! We enjoyed the hot tub and playing in the park. The cottage is nice and big and close to the seaside. The dogs toffee and Bramble had loads of fun too! Thank you!!

Enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Cottage. The accommodation is well equipped. We have thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The welcome pack was wonderful. We had a gorgeous meal at The Three Jolly Sailors. Had some fabulous days out in Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay is also well worth a visit. All in all we have had a beautiful holiday.

We have had a lovely time. Recommend the walk from Hayburn Wyke to Robin Hoods Bay (not for the faint hearted tho). Easy walks in Broxa Forest. Lemon top ice cream in Whitby.

Thank you for providing a well equipped cottage with all things provided for a relaxing holiday. This is a lovely base for exploring all the things the area has to offer and after a full day of family fun a hot tub to relax is proper luxury.

Wonderful to finally be here. We should have stayed last year but due to the pandemic we kept having to change our dates. We came 8 years ago and still its as fabulous as it was with a few changes (for the better). Superb countryside and amazing weather all week, cant wait to return but not in 8 years we will be backs soon.

Lovely cottage and deserving of the "Luxury" title! Couldn't fault our stay, we had a fantastic time! We will most likely be back in the near future.

The cottage created the pleasant back drop for the sunshine we have enjoyed this week. A base of adventure for the kids who especially enjoy frolicking in the hot tub! Sycamore s very spacious and has a generous layout and we enjoyed using them kitchen to create culinary delights for all the family. Will highly recommend and wouldn't rule out a return ourselves! We needed a holiday and it took us 5 hours to get here but it was so worth it. We liked Go Ape and the hot tub. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack and doggy pack. It feels like home and our dogs enjoyed the grass area. Thank you Sam.

Really enjoyed the cottage and thank you for the provisions kindly left for us. We visited Whitby,, Scarborough, Pickering and Helmsley. The walk from Cloughton to Hayburn Wyke is recommended but must like steps for climbing the cliffs . A good week enjoyed by all.

We had a splendid week in this lovely barn. Sycamore cottage is so comfortable spacious plus so quiet. Wonderful walks and great beaches for the children. All in all brilliant.

Spent a lovely week here for a 30th birthday. We all had a brilliant time and really enjoyed the hot tub. The cottage provided everything we needed for our party of 9 and 2 dogs. We visited for a ladies weekend and joint 40th and 50th celebration and were blown away by the cottage. It's absolutely brilliant and comes with all you could want and need.

A thoroughly fantastic stay! The hot tub a big hit with all and the little ones especially enjoyed the games room. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful and the welcome provisions were a particularly nice touch.

Well, what can we say. Sycamore Cottage is amazing. We were in hot tub every night and there's lots of great places to visit close by for all ages. To top it off, we enjoyed excellent weather all week. Who needs to go abroad! We will certainly be back.

We had a wonderful time here. Sycamore Cottage is lovely and was perfect for a stay with family and friends. Our 18th month old was able to explore the space without worry and found lots of places to run around and hide. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and got to visit some great places on the doorstep.

We had a great time here. The kids enjoyed the park and open space to play and spent hours in the games room. While we enjoyed the fab accommodation and hot tub. Would certainly like to return.

Perfect accommodation for celebrating with the whole family. The kitchen was superbly equipped and extra towels were provided for the hot tub, which is not always considered and very useful. The grounds surrounding the property were perfect for the dogs and although there were no children in our party, I imagine the set up would be perfect. Really, really hope to be back again soon.

A brilliant week in fantastic accommodation. Scarborough beach, Peasholm Park, Falling Foss and canoeing at Ruswarp were all close by and big hits with the kids. While the hot tub and BBQ were great for us older guests.

What an amazing week spent here. Sycamore Cottage is beautiful and very well located for Scarborough and Whitby. Complete with very friendly owners and welcome from Mia and Murphy the Labrador pups. Would absolutely love to come back one day.

To celebrate my wife's 70th birthday we booked the Farmhouse, Sycamore and Oak Cottage. Which perfectly housed our family of 10 and 12 close friends. Ages ranged between 78 and 4 months and we all spent a wonderful weekend in this splendid location. We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of all the accommodation and everyone was impressed with the facilities. With most taking advantage of the hot tubs. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and we could not have chosen a better spot. We even had beautiful weather, which made our visit even more fabulous. May congratulations to the owners and team - they couldn't have provided anything more for their guests.

Spent a lovely and relaxing week at Sycamore cottage with all the family (three generations). There's lots of space for the children to let off steam and the hot tub is perfect for the adults to chill. Well-equipped with plenty room for the 9 of us.

Great location and cottage to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with all our family. Everything was what we imagined and more and we really appreciated the home-from-home feel. Towels for the hot tub were an added bonus, as well as the fully-equipped kitchen and helpful staff.

A fantastic 50th celebration and great venue for guests from Yorkshire, Essex and Durham. Already suggested we return next year. Such a brilliant setting and accommodation - thank you.

Perfect place for a weekend away and gorgeous setting for a morning dip in the hot tub. Sycamore Cottage is cosy and warm and ideal for visiting Whitby (don't forget to try the fish and chips).
