What a wonderful week we've had. Our youngest is 8 months so it was perfect being somewhere beautiful where you could all enjoy being a family and not feeling you had to go out all the time. Restful days- meals here, but good places to visit (Bryherstones Inn). The views are stunning, so just going into the garden feels like a holiday. Everything needed was in the house. A lovely warm welcome from the team. what more could you ask for? We've already booked for 2022.

THE BADMINTON LADIES

What a lovely week in a big and roomy but cosy and very warm cottage. Everything we could ever have needed was available and the welcome pack was enjoyed after a 6 hour journey. Stunning views and being left alone was just what was wanted and we would recommend to our family and friends. Hope to come back and see you again one day.

OSBOURNE FAMILY

Lovely location, beautiful accommodation and fantastic weather. What more could we have wanted? Hunmanby Gap, Robin Hood's Bay, Ravenscar (where we saw seals) are all worth a visit and the Post Office at Burniston is good for bits and a daily paper. Woke to badger, deer and moles and went to sleep listening to tawny and barn owls, which are visible at dusk. Both dogs loved it, too and so did Grandma!

THE CHAPMANS

Amazing place to celebrate an 80th birthday. Beautiful views from the house and hot tub and we enjoyed cycling down the cinder track. As well as the coast path walk from Ravenscar to Hayburn Wyke and visits to Scarborough and Whitby. We had a fab fish and chip lunch at Walkers and also walked from the farmhouse over the tracks to The Falcon Pub (about an hour uphill on the way and 50 mins down hill back). It was a good pub with decent food and we managed to dodge most of the rain, so saw plenty of sunshine. The electric charger was a massive plus (thank you) and the children loved the attic playroom/den.

THE MARSHALLS AND THE CLAYTONS

We came to celebrate Mick's 70th birthday (a big year) and this house was the perfect stay for us. Thank you for the very generous welcome pack (greatly appreciated) and we thoroughly enjoyed the garden overlooking the wonderful scenery! The BBQ and hot tub were also a real treat. Thirley Cotes is the perfect place for getting to Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and the North and South Bays of Scarborough. We also headed to Filey to take in the Wetherby Silver Band and hopped on the train from Pickering to Whitby for some great fish and chips. It was a lovely week.

MICK AND ROBYN WEBB

Fantastic house. Really well-equipped and we were very grateful for the travel cot, high chair and stair gate. Which made travelling with 2 young children a little easier! We loved the hot tub and games room and the girls enjoyed the spacious garden and playground. Thank you for the welcome pack, it was much appreciated and we're already looking forward to re-booking and seeing the new cottages. Brilliant weather meant we enjoyed the beach at Scarborough and Filey and spent nice days in Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay.

KATE, MATTHEW, EMILY AND ALICE

Thank you for a fantastic holiday. Beautiful cottage, area and surroundings. Couldn't of asked for anything else! Everything you could think of was provided and the hot tub was lovely and relaxing. We really enjoyed watching the cows come up to the field everyday all in a line. Thank you for the welcome pack (nice touch) and Hollie says *bark* for the ball and treats (translation: she loved her stay).

THE PADLEYS

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The house and surroundings are stunning and so good for the soul! We visited Scarborough, Whitby, Staithes and York and spent time in Peasholm Park feeding the squirrels. The welcome pack was a lovely touch.

KIMMY & JAK

We don't want to leave - this house is so beautiful! Lovely touch with the welcome pack for humans and four legged friends and gorgeous views everyday from the garden. In our honest opinion you deserve 8 stars! It's been an absolute pleasure to stay here.

DEE & JAMES BRUCE

Extremely well appointed farmhouse - wanted for nothing. The fabulous welcome pack was much appreciated and as the sunshine was on our side, we spent all our time exploring the countryside. Which left no time to enjoy the hot tub and games room. Better luck next time.

MINORS AND FRIENDS

WOW, what a wonderful weekend - the best ever.
1. Fantastic house - want to buy it please
2. Fantastic location - great for days out and vegging around
3. Fantastic company - lots of fun in the hot tub and around the house

Relaxing and just what we all needed after working hard keeping the rest of the world healthy. Woody says thanks for the treats and old slippers (he ate them all) and the fire was a lovely touch. The views from the hot tub are stunning and we even spotted the resident barn owl and passing Tour de Yorkshire. Needles to say we will be back same time next year and might even let others know how awesome it is - or perhaps we'll keep it our secret.

NURSES ON TOUR WITH WOODY THE DOG

We came to celebrate a 40th birthday and what a perfect house and location to do just that! Our children are between 8 and 15 and they were all happily entertained for the whole week. Thanks to the games room upstairs and on site. The hot tub was lovely and if you time it right you can watch the sun setting with a glass of prosecco! We went on a couple of days out to Whitby, Dalby Forest and Alpamare Water Park (Scarborough) and all are highly recommended. Thirley Cotes Farm is very clean and very well equipped - we will definitely be back!

HESLOP AND PAGET FAMILY

Lovely visit. Nice welcome and everything was very tasteful. Hot tub is a lovely touch and we liked the attention to detail. This is a beautiful part of the world and Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay were really nice destinations for a day tip. The games room is a great touch and also enjoyed, as well as table tennis in the communal games room. Thanks for a really nice visit.

THE DOBB FAMILY

What a beautiful cottage with stunning views and interiors! We enjoyed a very chilled week here and loved every minute - including the hot tub (which was a great added bonus). Beautiful surroundings including Scarborough and Whitby and a wonderful property with loads of space for everyone. My two boys particularly enjoyed the games room at the top of the house. We will definitely return soon. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

THE FOWLER & DONOHUE FAMILY

What an amazing property! We never wanted to leave. The house itself is fantastic and the facilities are second to none. While the welcome basket was a lovely touch and something we were not expecting. This cottage kept everyone happy, from 8 - 68 years old and we have all had a great time.

THE TIBBLES/BEECHS

WOW! Christmas is a tough time in our household as both boys have Autism. So we decided after a disastrous festive season last year, we would book a holiday - and here we are. We had the most amazing time and the boys slept (a first). The property is stunning with lots of space for quiet time when is all gets overwhelming and while we never really left the house other than a food shop, we did make the most of walks on the doorstep and really enjoyed the hot tub! Highlights were the wood burner and amazing kitchen. We will be back and want to thank all the team for the best Christmas in a long time.
P.S. The hamper was an added surprise - many thanks.

JULIE, GARY, OLIVER, ADAM, BONNIE & GRACIE (THE DOGS)

Thank you for an amazing place to stay. We spent a fabulous few days here. The house was lovely and views are stunning. Everything we needed was on hand and the staff were very welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

THE EYRE & PICKERDGILL FAMILY

Enjoyed an excellent time with our family here in this lovely farmhouse. Everything we needed and more was on hand and the hot tub provided wonderful views (we even spotted the resident barn owl and Canadian geese). The 'naval battles' in Peasholm Park, Scarborough are a must. But only on sunny afternoons.

THE MILLS FAMILY, LAKE DISTRICT

A great holiday in a lovely cottage. We were lucky with the weather and all enjoyed morning and evening dips in the hot tub. The kids all had fun playing in the games room and local highlights were Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and Scarborough. Oh and our teenagers were big fans of the shopping outlet in York.
