With Scarborough also just a short drive away, this self-catering cottage is the perfect fit for those seeking to explore the local scenery and offers an abundance of cliff top trails and outdoor activities on the doorstep. Whilst also providing somewhere relaxing to return to at the end of the day , you can explore the four acres of woodland on the estate or focus on watching the bird and wildlife that drifts past the farmhouse on a daily basis.
The Cottage escapes office is based at the farm, so our staff are always on hand to welcome you and provide help or guidance during your stay.

The Farmhouse is the beating heart of the Thirley Cotes Farm estate – a collection of 8 beautifully restored Georgian cottages sleeping 2 – 42 and surrounded by 21 acres of woodland.
This property offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an upstairs games/chilling out space. Oil Central heating, fuel, towels and bed linen are included. A cot and high chair are available on request and up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome. The beautiful stone walled garden comes with teak furniture for up to 8.

The enclosed south facing garden and stone terrace provide plenty of space to sit back and soak up the warmer weather. While the Weber BBQ (with starter bag of coals) and outdoor dining space means you can really enjoy the last of the evening’s sun. There’s plenty of seating and a private hot tub complete with complimentary towels and slippers.
Explore the surrounding enchanting woodland and stream and be sure to keep an eye out for our resident Barn and Tawny Owls.
You’ll spot plenty of local wildlife along the North Yorkshire coastline, including whales, dolphins, seals and puffins, and, closer to home, our resident Bird and Wildlife. If little ones are feeling adventurous, there’s also an outdoor play area and another indoor games room on site. Please note children must be supervised at all times.
